uSky Transport has hosted visitors from Oman.
Oman is a country located in the Arabian Peninsula Southeast, in Southern Arabia. This is a unique and attractive place that combines ancient history, cultural heritage and beautiful landscapes.
Today Oman faces a number of transport issues such as:
Congestion and traffic jams: Some major cities, e.g., Muscat and Salalah experience traffic problems, especially during rush hours. This may lead to delays and increased travel times.
Infrastructure problems: Although Oman is actively developing its infrastructure, there are still areas that have problems with road infrastructure, including absence of roads or their poor quality.
Car dependency: There is a high dependence on private cars as a means of transportation in Oman. This leads to increased air pollution and problems with public transport.
Limited public transport options: Despite development of public transport in some major cities, many regions of Oman remain without available to public transport, thus limiting travel options for locals and tourists.
Underusing alternative modes of transport: Bicycles and pedestrian footpaths are rarely used in Oman. This may be caused by climate and cultural preferences, but is also a challenge to improve sustainable modes of transport.
Throughout the visit, many issues were discussed, some related to safety of the technology. uSky Transport's strategic goal is to ensure maximum safety of passenger and cargo transportation in future transport and logistics tasks around the world.
The visit of guests from Oman had a warm and friendly atmosphere, our visitors expressed interest in uSky Transport tech, as well as in future cooperation.
