Today, pursuit of sustainable development is increasingly becoming a priority goal for most countries in the world. This is a global agenda supported by many countries, international organizations and civil society. This is reflected in the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, which includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the UN.
Sustainable development in India is a key priority for the country’s government and society. While India strives for economic growth and improving quality of life of its citizens, it also places high value on sustainable practices to help preserve the environment, reduce inequality and promote social justice.
Introduction of innovative transport is of great importance for India for a number of reasons:
Congested cities: Many Indian cities are facing huge problems with congested transport systems. Congestion, air pollution and inefficient use of road infrastructure lead to deterioration of urban dwellers’ quality of life. Innovative solutions such as uSky Transport & Infrastructure Solutions can relieve pressure on roads and improve mobility.
Air pollution: India faces major air pollution problems, and emissions from vehicles are a part of those. Implementation of uSky tech can significantly reduce air pollution and improve environmental quality.
Economy growth: Modern and efficient transport systems can contribute to economic growth. Transport innovations can deliver better infrastructure, shorter delivery times for goods and services, and increased productivity.
Sustainability: Adopting innovative transportation and using uPods can reduce dependence on oil, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide access to transport for all demographics of populace.
Improved safety: Transport innovations can help improve road safety. Raising uSky Transport track structure above ground prevents collisions between rolling stock and pedestrians, animals, cars, trains, agricultural, construction and any other equipment.
Sustainable development in India has many challenges but also provides opportunities to improve quality of life of citizens and to preserve nature. It’s important for efforts to achieve sustainable development to involve participation of all levels of society, from government and business to civil society and citizens.
