The large Romanian developer SDC Properties Group visited uSky Test & Certification Centre.
SDC Properties Group is a real estate development, construction, and acquisition firm based in the city of Cluj Napoca that’s driven by an unmatched commitment to quality and innovation. With over one million square meters of property in various stages of development, SDC is the Romanian industry leader that’s reinventing the very process through which major architectural projects are designed and built.
SDC Properties have launched what they claim to be the biggest real estate project and a new concept in Romania and all Southeast Europe, a mixed-use project named Transylvania Smart City. The first real estate project with over 10,000 housing units, approximately 40 blocks of flats, with over 30,000 inhabitants.

A smart district needs good internal mobility, good access to the outside, innovative and intelligent traffic management systems, sustainable and safe public transport and strategies to support the use of green vehicles.
This was the reason for the representatives of SDC Properties to get interested in uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology. It is the passenger complexes of uSky Transport that have become the object of increased attention of the guests from Romania.

The visitors were raising questions about the safety of uSky transport system and the evacuation system and were told about high standards of design and construction, which serve to ensure the safety of uSky Transport Solutions. The certification of electric vehicles is a key measure to ensure compliance with safety standards. And uCar is equipped with an emergency towing device that allows one to tow the EV to the service station for maintenance.

The visitors took a test ride in a certified and safe tropical uCar to the service station incorporating a control room with an in-house developed world-class coherent infrastructure of software and hardware that serves for robust operations of full-electric vehicles uPods.

A 6-seat high-speed electric vehicle uFlash came in sight of the visitors being remarkable for its paramount travel speed of 500 km/h. With the innovative uSky rail being the core of uSky overpasses, uFlash is designed for intercity and international commuting. Originally, it has been exhibited at InnoTrans in Berlin. And now, as part of the EXPO 2020 exhibition, it is being showcased at uSky Test & Certification Centre in Sharjah, UAE.

At uSky Transport office, the guests from Romania had the opportunity to see the model of a linear city demonstrating five type of tracks.

Of particular interest to SDC Properties was applicability of uSky Technology on the routes between Transylvania Smart City and the airport and between the airport and the city centre of Cluj Napoca.
Nowadays, the city of Cluj Napoca is considering a construction project for the underground metro to link the city with the airport. But the presentation delivered by uSky Transport representatives showed the guests that uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology can become a more cost-effective solution for their city, in particular, due to such advantages as:
enhanced safety of high-speed transportation due to rolling stocks travelling high above the ground resultingly excluding the risk of colliding with other objects moving on the ground;
minimal land uptaken by string rail overpasses, which can be easily adapted to perform any logistic tasks at speeds up to 500 km/h;
more favorable construction and operating costs compared to other types of overpass transport (monorail, magnetic levitation train, surface subway, high-speed tram, cable car) and underground metro.

Today, uSky Transport with all requisite resources available is ready to offer its customers productive and reliable business relationships to result in high-quality, safe and sustainable transport solutions.
uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology left an indelible impression on the Romanian delegates, who expressed their desire to establish fruitful cooperation with uSky Transport promptly.
