Overpass is considered to be the most promising transport mode of all those advantageous ones available nowadays – such is being developed by uSky Transport. The company produces eco-friendly unmanned electric vehicles that travel on special rails above the ground.
uSky transport and infrastructure complexes can be implemented in cities with a high urban density and a large number of congested roads. uSky track can be easily integrated into the existing urban infrastructure and relieve its transport system. Moreover, uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology can solve the problem of commuting between a metropolis and small nearby towns. The elevated uSky transport route, which is cheaper in construction terms than a railroad, will help to avoid traffic jams and make the way to the metropolis faster and more comfortable. Similarly, uSky transport complexes can be used to connect cities with airports.
Construction of conventional connection lines is extremely expensive, perplex or completely infeasible in regions where difficult terrain or water barriers do not allow regular transport links to be established. Installing uSky systems in areas with mountains, swamps or jungle is much cheaper than building any other transport alternatives available on the market. uSky Transport can also be used to connect city districts separated by waterbodies thus saving residents from a long detour.
Having learned about the prospects of overpass transport, Mikhail Nikulin, a representative of the Passenger Transportation Department of the Novosibirsk Mayor's Office (Russia), Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Complexes of Novosibirsk State Technical University, paid his professional attention to uSky Transport. A resident of Novosibirsk, the metropolis located in the cold climatic zone of Russia, was keen to learn about the possibility of using uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology in his region.
The Russian expert was told about uSky Transport and Infrastructure Technology and he witnessed an innovative and fully certified vehicle – the tropical uCar in operation.
In the control room with a hardware-and-software complex, the Russian specialist learned the details about the production and operation of uSky passenger and cargo vehicles.
In the demonstration pavilion, the guests were shown a model of a high-speed uFlash, which is capable to develop the speed up to 500 kilometers per hour on intercity and international routes.
The transport expert was told about the technological features of uSky rail, which is the core component of uSky technology.
uSky rail represents a continuous steel, reinforced concrete beam or truss additionally reinforced with prestressed tension strings. uSky rail combines the characteristics of a flexible wire rope and a rigid beam. The flat rail head and the cylindrical steel wheel ensure minimum energy consumption when driving.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Nikulin wrote his review in the book for honoured guests, expressing gratitude and wishing the speedy implementation of uSky projects in Russia and Belarus.
After the visit of a transport expert from the Siberian city of Russia, the uSky Test & Certification Centre was attended by Dr. MAC-Munir Ahmad Chaudhary, the head of the Office of H.H. Sheikh Abdulhakim Almaktoum, respected representative of the hot Arab Emirates.
Dr. MAC-Munir Ahmad Chaudhary was also introduced to the features of the innovative uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology by visiting the test center and demonstration pavilion.
Dr. MAC-Munir Ahmad Chaudhary was presented with the autobiography of Dr. Anatoli Unitsky "The Engineer", in which the designer openly narrates about the development of the original concept of uSky transport, about the goals that he was guided by and the difficulties he had to face.
Concluding his visit, Dr. MAC-Munir Ahmad Chaudhary thanked uSky Transport representatives for the warm welcome and the opportunity to get acquainted with the innovative uSky technology, expressing hope for the further development of uSky Transport business ties in the United Arab Emirates.
