Hard to offer the most technologically advanced innovative solutions to the market with no compliance with ever-increasing demands of global standards.
uSky Transport fulfills its mission to solve the global social, economic and environmental issues by dint of creating and promoting a fundamentally new, eco-friendly, safe, reliable and comfortable transport system, which is to enhance the world mobility, make the transport safer and the environment cleaner, healthier and greener by continuously improving the quality of its solutions and technologies and by ensuring global regulatory compliance.
The adoption of an integrated management system (IMS) is a strategic decision for uSky Transport that does help to improve its overall performance and provide a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.
When implementing the IMS based on international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, we pursued to obtain a range of benefits to our organization and its performance such as:
the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements;
facilitating opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction;
addressing risks and opportunities associated with its context and objectives;
the ability to demonstrate conformity to specified quality management system (QMS) requirements.
In the meantime, achieving a balance between the environment, society and the economy is considered essential by uSky Transport to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Sustainable development as a goal is achieved by balancing the three pillars of sustainability. Societal expectations for sustainable development, transparency and accountability have evolved with increasingly stringent legislation, growing pressures on the environment from pollution, inefficient use of resources, improper waste management, climate change, degradation of ecosystems and loss of biodiversity. This has led uSky Transport to adopt a systematic approach to environmental management under ISO 14001:2015 by implementing environmental management system (EMS) with the aim of contributing to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
And the last but not least in value is uSky Transport's responsibility for the occupational health and safety of workers and others who can be affected by its activities. This responsibility includes promoting and protecting their physical and mental health. The adoption of an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) as per ISO 45001:2015 is intended to enable our organization to provide safe and healthy workplaces, prevent work-related injury and ill health, and continually improve its OH&S performance.
The Integrated Management System at uSky Transport employs the process approach, which incorporates the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle and risk-based thinking. The process approach enables our organization to plan its processes and their interactions. And the PDCA cycle enables uSky Transport to ensure its process are adequately resourced and managed, and that opportunities for improvement as well as risks are determined and acted on. The PDCA model provides an iterative process used to achieve continual improvement. It is applied to the quality, environmental and occupational health & safety management systems and to each of their individual elements. Briefly, it is described as follows:
Plan: establish quality, environmental and occupational health & safety objectives and processes necessary to deliver results in accordance with the organization’s quality, environmental and occupational health & safety policies.
Do: implement the processes as planned.
Check: monitor and measure processes against the quality, environmental and occupational health & safety management policies, including their commitments, objectives and operating criteria, and report the results.
Act: take actions to continually improve.
