uSky Test & Certification Centre has been again visited by His Excellency Emmanuel Hategeka, Ambassador of Rwanda to the UAE. This time, Mister Ambassador toured uSky Centre with Ms. Clare Akamanzi, an International Trade and Investment Lawyer, who is currently the CEO of the Rwanda Development Board and a Cabinet Member.
Rwanda is onу of the top ten countries on the African continent in terms of education, healthcare, quality of public administration, security, and economic development. In East Africa, Rwanda has become the most prosperous state taking active measures to stimulate economic growth and the development of new technologies.
In pursuance of sustainable economic development of the country, Rwanda representatives are keen to find new technological opportunities and build reliable business partnerships, for instance, eventually with uSky Transport.
The delegates visited the uSky passenger station and took a test ride in a safe and certified tropical uCar.
The guests were shown uFlash, which’s got seating for six passengers and is designed to travel at the speed of up to 500 km/h. With the innovative uSky rail being the core of uSky overpasses, uFlash is designed for intercity and international commuting. Originally, it has been exhibited at InnoTrans in Berlin. And now, it is being showcased at uSky Test & Certification Centre in Sharjah, UAE.
At uSky Transport office, the delegates had the opportunity to see the operating model of a linear city, the concept of which made an indelible impression on the delegates.
Among other technological know-hows, the esteemed guests were shown the in-house designed and manufactured motor-wheel, which represents the propulsion force of uSky EVs.
After the tour, the distinguished guests were delivered a presentation of uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology demonstrating the high potential of overpass transportation.
The key advantage of uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology is significant reduction of construction and operation costs retaining the environmental friendliness and advanced safety in comparison to traditional ground and aboveground transport means like automobile, railway, monorail, magnetic levitation. For example, the cost of capital construction of uSky transport overpass is 1.5–2 times lower than traditional construction of the urban railway including tram line, and 5–7 times lower than the subway overpass built above the ground including the elevated metro. For instance, the construction of uSky urban double-track overpass costs about 2 million USD/km. Operating costs will also be about 2–3 times lower than for traditional transport systems.
Integration of the innovative uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology into any transport infrastructure will minimize the negative consequences of using conventional vehicles, such as deaths and injuries as a result of road accidents, air pollution, high fuel consumption, and traffic congestion, thus will subsequently contribute to improving the life quality and sustainable development goals.
During the presentation, Dr. Anatoli Unitsky personally presented some of the typical design solutions by uSky Transport.
Ms. Clare Akamanzi with her progressive outlook on the future and a deep interest in the development of the transportation in her country was indelibly impressed with what she had seen at uSky Test & Certification Centre.
The visit of high-ranking representatives of Rwanda to uSky Test & Certification Centre concluded with a fruitful and positive dialogue with Dr. Anatoli Unitsky, in which the parties expressed their serious intentions to establish a confident and productive relationship in the foreseeable future.
Today, uSky Transport has all the requisite resources and is ready to offer its customers from Rwanda high-quality, safe, and environmentally friendly transport systems.
