uSky Test & Certification Centre was visited by Mikhail Khazin, a reputable Russian economist and political scientist, TV and radio presenter, former deputy head of the economic department of the President of Russia, now retired state adviser of the Russian Federation, academician of the International Academy of Management, founder of the Economic Research Foundation. Mr. Khazin posts forecasts for the development of the world and Russian economies and geopolitical analytics on his portal Khazin.ru.
Dr. Anatoli Unitsky has personally made a presentation telling the Russian guest about the capabilities of uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology and demonstrated an innovative and fully certified electric vehicle tropical uCar in operation.
Mr. Khazin was given a tour to the control room with a hardware and software complex and uSky control system, where the honorable guest was able to verify personally the safety and reliability of uCar as well as to take a test ride in the novel transport mode with confidence.
After the ride in uCar, Mr. Khazin and Dr. Anatoli Unitsky visited the uSky Transport demonstration pavilion, where the latest model of uFlash is presented. This is a high-speed electric vehicle designed for intercity and international transportation on string-rail overpasses at a speed up to 500 km/h.
Being an expert in economics, Mr. Khazin at a professional level assessed the economic advantages of uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology, as the most cost-effective system in comparison with other transport modes, which is also confirmed by the conclusion of the Russian Academy of Sciences: in comparison with an airplane, uSky Transport would be 3.3 times more cost-effective, in comparison with a high-speed rail, 2.5–3.1 times more cost-efficient, and in comparison with “Transrapid” maglev train, 9.6 times more cost-efficient. And in comparison with a motor car, energy consumption will be 31 times lower.
One of the important advantages noted by the guest from Russia, where a cold climate prevails over most of the country, was the versatility of the uSky transport structure, which is applicable in various climatic conditions – both in cold regions of Russia at temperatures from –40 °C, and in hot UAE deserts with air temperatures reaching +60 °С.
Like other visitors to uSky Test & Certification Centre, such as top officials of Colombia, Brazil, Lesotho, Rwanda, the United Arab Emirates and other countries, the distinguished guest from Russia was impressed by what he saw, leaving his positive insights review in the guestbook.
